Santa Fe High School cheerleaders went to Oak Grove to the MSHSAA cheer camp. They learned new sideline and crowd cheers, stunts, and a dance. Coach Hunter attended MSHSAA coaches meetings and a refresher concussion course. The squad represented Santa Fe Pride the camp!


Molly Malter, Santa Fe FFA member, is having a great time in Washington DC with the FFA WLC program! She has been able to do lots of sightseeing in our Nation's Capital and is learning valuable leadership skills through the WLC program!





Due to low numbers utilizing it, we will no longer run the summer training bus after today. We have still been getting 10-20 junior high student-athletes to training sessions each day, and those 9-10 AM workouts will continue! If your child needs a ride, please see if you can make it work. Have a great weekend and see you all Monday morning!

Congratulations to our baseball Chiefs earning more postseason honors!
Emmett Finkeldei, Evan Finkeldei and Reid Monsees all earned MHSBCA Academic All-State, and Emmett Finkeldei was also voted as an All-State Honorable Mention DH/ Utility player. Great work, guys!

Pictured is Lillian Plattner painting at Santa Fe School District as a summer custodian for her summer job and Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance SAE within the FFA. Lillian also helps with a variety of other jobs while working for the school. Lillian is the daughter of Darnishia Plattner and Andrew Plattner and is a first year FFA member.


Pictured is Cy Mathews working to remove and replace the teeth on a trencher while working at Hostetter Construction this summer. Cy is also a part of the tiling crew along with working in the shop. Cy is the son of Drew and Michelle Mathews and is a second year FFA member.


Pictured is Molly Malter feeding her show pigs and getting them ready for many shows and fairs this summer. Molly is in charge of every aspect of her Swine Entrepreneurship SAE which includes; feeding, watering, cleaning pins, walking her pigs, and checking in on them multiple times during the day on these hot summer days. Molly is the daughter of Justin and Rebecca Malter, the current Chapter President and a three year FFA member.


Reminder that the Santa Fe summer training bus is still running, and it would be great to have more students on it to keep it running! Pick up times/location: Santa Fe Elementary 8:15am/Waverly City Hall 8:20am/Blackburn Park 8:40am.

Officers learned about the duties they have for their specific officer role, were a part of the rituals contest, and played some fun leadership/teamwork games. Chapter Officer Training Opening Ceremony- Pictured is Molly Malter, Santa Fe FFA member, Officer and also the Area VI Secretary performing her first opening ceremonies as an Area Officer at the Area VI Chapter Officer Training on May 30. Molly also led the group discussion for the Chapter Secretary's that attended this event and was a facilitator for various leadership breakout sessions.
