Professor Schreiman, the band director from State Fair Community College came in to work with the Santa Fe High School Band this morning. The students sounded great and learned a lot from Professor Schreiman.
Congratulations to Michael Dierking for being the high individual at the first Farm Equipment CDE contest at the Western Farm Show. His team placed 5th overall. John Deere sponsored the event and he received a free tool set for this award!

Cook Needed at Elementary School
The Santa Fe R-X School District is taking applications for a cook at the elementary school in Waverly. This is a 9 month position that includes full board paid insurance and retirement benefits, as well as free tuition for students of out-of-district families. The position is open immediately. Santa Fe students attended Math Relays at Concordia High School, as a team they placed fourth. Several students also placed individually.
Lily Plattner- 3rd in 9th grade Computations, Emmett Finkeldei- 1st in Math Analysis, Hayden Kirchhoff- 3rd in 11th grade Computations, and Reid Monsees-1st in 12th grade Computations and 2nd in Math Analysis.
