Dear Parents/Guardians:
Santa Fe High School Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on October 11th from 4-8pm and October 12th from 1-5pm. You are free to attend at any time convenient to your schedule. Please start your visit in the CAFETERIA, where you will receive any MAP/EOC scores, a Yearbook order form, and a list of your child’s teachers.
Since grades will not be final until October 18th, which is the end of the quarter, I encourage you to visit with your student’s teachers to get a true update of their progress in each class. This check in can give your child the chance to improve their grade before the end of the quarter.
In the folder you will receive a blank grade card, please choose at least 3 teachers to visit. If your student has classes that are highlighted, that signifies a low grade and you are asked to see those teachers first. *Students that return their list signed by all highlighted teachers and/or at least 3 teachers to the main office, will be entered to win a prize & receive extra credit in one class of their choice.
Due to practice/games and teachers with their own children’s conferences to attend, we will post sign in sheets on teacher’s doors that will miss any portion of the conference time. Signing in will count as you checking in, and the teachers will make contact with you regarding your child’s progress.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are an important part of your child’s education. This gives you the opportunity to collaborate with teachers to ensure your child’s success. We sincerely hope that you will attend, as we would like for you to see first-hand the exciting things our students are learning, as well as to build an ongoing relationship with their teachers.
