On Wednesday, 9/18, the Santa Fe R-X School District had the honor of hosting the newly appointed Missouri Commissioner of Education, Karla Eslinger. Being the first school she has visited while in this position, we were very excited to showcase our achievements and facilities.
The Commissioner commended the district for scoring in the top 5% of all k-12 public schools on the Annual Performance Report (a.k.a. State Report Card), a testament to our students, staff, and community. During her visit, she toured both the high school and elementary school, interacting with students and teachers.
We held a brief assembly at the high school, where she addressed students and staff, encouraging them to continue their dedication to excellence in learning.
Her visit was an inspiring reminder of our collective efforts to maintain high educational standards, and we look forward to continuing our strong performance.
