Santa Fe's Fabulous School Board
Did you know we have an incredible school board? We appreciate them so much! Their unwavering dedication and the countless hours they invest in ensuring our students and staff are supported do not go unnoticed. The work they do behind the scenes makes a significant difference in the success of our schools, and their commitment to our educational community is truly inspiring.
Their tireless efforts, leadership, and passion for fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for both students and staff is unbelievable. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated team working on our behalf. If you have the opportunity, please extend your gratitude to our phenomenal School Board members: Russell Limback, Darren Wodrich, Jennifer Hostetter, Clay Michael, Justin Schuster, Tim Dierking and Darrin Lilleman.

Although the weather stopped us from recognizing Kindness Week last week, we still got to participate in our Kindness Week activities this week!
Grades 2nd-6th voted on who in their class they believed showed the most kindness. These students were recognized as our 2025 Kind Kids! Our Kind Kids delivered Valentine's Day cards to local businesses in Waverly and visited Apple Ridge Nursing Home to spread a little joy.
Our 2025 Kind Kids included Harper Beumer, Hank Sander, Rosemary Miller, Owen Ford, Junior Bachtel, Patricia Fabian Garcia, Ben Klein, Whitney Jones, and Avaleena Heather.
Some of the activities we did this week to practice and promote kindness included:
• Making kindness chains
• Each class performing a random act of kindness for another class
• Writing about the kindest person they know
• Making Valentine’s Day cards for local businesses and nursing home residents
• Creating kindness rocks
Our kindness rocks will be placed around the school and community to hopefully brighten the day of those who need it. We hope our kindness rocks will serve as small reminders of positivity, bringing smiles to those who find them!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Kindness Week and helped make it so special. Kindness is contagious—let’s keep it going! 💛
